Comments:
Used the 80m 4-square as a receiving antenna this year. Modified Ameritron
Remote Coax Switch to switch between TX and RX antennas automatically using the
Send line from the IC-7610. Nice to have a directional antenna for RX and low
noise level on the 4-square a big plus. Some stations that were not detectable
on the 160m vertical were Q5 copy on the 80m 4-square.
Some periods of disturbed conditions and deep QSB but overall propagation was
quite good.
90% running, 10% S&P. Missed ND and NT.
