Comments:
First night/morning: 55 stations despite strong pulsed fence QRM. (+25dB)
Next day, while inspecting the Rx antennas, I helped the farmer to evacuate a
sheep and Jef was so kind to switch off his fence power source for the winter
period! Lucky me and my eardrums. I added the missing radials in this empty
sector, too.
The Saturday night/Sunday morning, the propagation was less but copy was so much
easier. :-)
My DX limit line appeared to be W5, a handful were heard and called but no
luck.
(this is more due to the limited antenna height/type than the propagation!)
I S&P-ed nearly the whole contest; I do remember Dave, K1WHS (my first 2m
EME QSO) and 1 other station, coming back to multiple CQ's.
Setup:
Electraft K3/100 + KAT500 + outboard hb BPF
Tx ant: inv L (quite slanted due to high winds)at 15m downto 11m + 100+ radials
Rx ant: 3 un-terminated short Beverages (60,120,160m),remote switchable from the
shack for 3 directions/6 azimuths.
