Comments:
Really enjoyed this one. Conditions where nearly perfect as K index was 0 most
times and never exceeded 1 I believe.
Ant is ground plane with 4 radials and feed point at 45 feet. The top 30 feet
of the radiator is bent over like an inverted L. Reversible beverages 600 feet
each NE/SW and NW/SE.
Felt pretty loud most times. Most EU QSOs were the result of stations calling
in. OK7Z was particularly loud. Was able to easily wander into pileups for
JT1CO, D4C, and YL2SM and make quick work of it.
Didn't work any Western EU and only heard TM6M who was pretty weak just around
sunset. Lot's of Scandinavia and Russia with a few Baltic countries YL and LY.
Also LU8DPM called in.
The only 15 kHz wide JA allocation really sucks. Lots of lids packed into a 5
lb bag. Cmon guys. Key clicks? Really?
Gonna try to be on for my first try at the Stew Perry.
73, Guy N7ZG
