Comments:
Thank you to Dave W4JVN for his hospitality and station usage! Interesting
contesting in Windmill Point, VA (Fleets Island overlooking Chesapeake Bay).
WAE CW is a favorite due to the QTC aspect.
Didn't have much expectations for the contest. Get on and make some Qs. Well
almost 700 Qs later...wow that was fun!
Heard YB, BY, and E2 on Sat am on 20m. Cool!
Watched a fox on Dave's property. In the evening, it liked to sleep on the rocks
by the water.
Unfortunately SWR was too high to use 80m dipole. Internet access was dial up
with multiple disconnects...that's the boonies, hah! Most of the time only had
one bar on cell phone :-)
