Comments:

I started from Colbert Heights Mountain, EM64dq with my new 15-element K1FO
Yagi. Conditions were mostly average with the exception of an interesting path
to northeast Florida. Although I only worked one station, at least two others
were heard in north Alabama. I also heard stations in NC and GA but couldn't
complete with them. Otherwise, the new antenna seemed to work fairly well.
>From Colbert Heights, I drove my typical grid corner-circling route, driving
through EM54, 55, and 65 before returning to 64. Thanks to AG4V and AB4DX for
4-grid sweeps. William, AB4DX was operating portable from Bankhead National
Forest and did a fantastic job in his first-ever VHF/UHF portable op.
