Comments:
I got some band pass filters for a Christmas present so I thought I would try
out doing SO2R again in the Sprint. I started out as LP but that was a big
mistake because a dipole just doesn't cut it on 20 meters. I lost almost every
jump ball. So I switched to HP and that didn't seem to really help that much.
Plus there wasn't much activity on 40 meters at the start. I quit 45 minutes in
totally frustrated after having my worse hour ever in a CW Sprint. I thought
about it and got back on after about 15 minutes or so after cooling down and
hoping it might be better.
As it turned out both 80 and 40 meters were good for me.
