Great fun! Thanks to my friend Connor, W4IPC and others for the fun race on the
live online scoreboard.
The question of the weekend for me was: where was all the DX on 80m? EU was
almost non-existent for much of the evenings. Fortunately 40m made up for that.
20m was fair and 15m even produced a few decent EU openings. The only station
heard on 10m was D41CV, but he was too weak to make a QSO with.
My strategy this time around was to work as many 6-pointers and red call signs
(mults) on the band map as I could and not focus so much on big QSO totals. I
did have a few decent runs but spent the bulk of my time searching and
pouncing.
Thanks for all the QSOs! See everyone in ARRL DX CW... I'm still deciding what
type of operation I want to do for that contest.
