Comments:
Since the February ice damage, I haven't gotten much antenna work done due to
other priorities. Hence, no 144 or 222 antennas, and no "real" 6M
antenna - just using the C19XR tribander at 100' for 6M, which, though it has a
good match, is probably about like a halo at 100' -- no directivity and
probably no gain -- but I can get on the air with it. Decided to only do
CW/SSB. Took a lot of breaks as it got pretty boring at times when condx were
marginal to zero. A lot of "laser" propagation. I'd hea a station
from a faraway populous grid, very loud for long period of time, and nothing
else from that area.
Still great to work some folks. 6M breakdown: CW = 68 SSB = 41. Sure seems
like I worked a lot harder than that!
Thanks to all for the QSO's.
73, Gator
