Comments:
Either the conditions were not as good as last year or I'm losing my touch!
Lots of QRN to remind me that this is 160 in the summer time. I lost the
ability to choose my 4 best beverages just before the contest leaving me with
only two very directional E/W antennas and my very noisy vertical to listen on.
I'm sure I missed lots of folks who were calling, but I just couldn't hear
nearly as well as usual. Interestingly, the Caribbean stations were OK copy
despite the fact that they were off the side of the beverages. Best DX was the
mid west. No Europeans at all. Bummer! Worked a few PVRC folk including two
locals, NN4RB and K4YCR. Thanks, Rick and Henry! Thanks also to all who braved
the QRN to get on for the Summer Stew! See you again on October 23!
