Class: Single Op LP
QTH:
Operating Time (hrs): 7
Summary:
Total: QSOs = 220 Total Score = 811
Club: CT RI Contest Group
Comments:
Participated in all 4 SPTD Challenge contests for the 2021-2021 season to
qualify for the Master of Four Seasons event with this being the final event for
the annual activity.
Best DX: RM4 ...then YL7 and OH0 (who both called me - TNX!); domestic DX: VE6
(2), KP2 (3).
K index at 1 and quiet geomagnetic condx but mild thunderstorm QRN in Atlantic
Ocean and band had weak long distance signals.
My local noise appeared a bit worse than before - bummer. No West Coast heard
except NX6T (no QSO). Just five 10-point & above QSOs, twelve 8 and 9
pointers.
TNX for the QSOs ... sorry to the few I could not pull from the noise. This is
one of the few events I operate UNassisted for (anymore it seems). 73!
Icom IC-7300 at 100w; TX/RX: 5/16 wave Inv L sloping up 90'/over 80' with
matching series cap at feed, 3 elevated 65' non-resonant radials (at 10-12'
above soil) and modest [detached] ground screen of 18 various length wires.
