Where do I begin?
I worked a night before and after WFD in 160m CQ CW, so being outside during a
day definitely not improve my sleep schedule. My family already think I am
crazy, so whatever.. :)
I consider myself an experienced POTA activator, however all of my activation
has been during 40F and up. WFD is different in low temps. Wires are stiff,
battery life is short, your fingers are numb, your butt (excuse me) is frozen,
and you know that you'll have to get back into the snow pile after QRT to break
down your antennas and stuff.
But! It is still lots of fun and I'll definitely do it next year!
Thanks to everyone who had patience working me on 20m CW while I was struggling
with the temperature and equipment. I'll be more prepared next year, I promise.
