Comments:
This weekend was a grat one.
At my QTH, a good propagation on 15 meters made the contest very enjoyable with
strong signals from west coast on 20 and 15m.
I was also lucky catching a short 10m opening on Saturday afternoon, logging ~55
QSOs.
Started on 40m with a slow rate which increased the successive two hours.
Overall the low bands were in good shape.
A nice surprise: 15 min before the end, while calling on 40m, I noticed VE5SF
spotted, and I was missing SK state, so I jumped on his frequency but heard
nobody, so I returned to my QRG and kept calling trying to collect the last
QSOs, and surprisigngly 10min from the end VE5SF answered to my CQ... thank you
Sam!
I started the contest with the most recent version of DxLog (with not much
testing before) and had two good hours of headacke.
A strange issue prvented the trasmission of an interleaved QSO between radio1
and radio2, not allowing a good 2BSIQ operation. so I decided to switch to the
old DxLog version but it didn't help... after that it turned out to be a macro I
added in the CW messages causing the issue, after removing it, the log worked
flawlessly for the rest of the time. DxLog is really the perfect contest
software, many thanks to the DxLog develop/support Team!
Thanks everyone for the QSOs!
