Comments:
This was my first experience as a rover. My friend Matt wanted spend a weekend
in VT and ME visiting some breweries so I suggested we combine it with NEQP! He
drove while I radioed from the passenger seat. Condx were kind of funky. Euros
were much louder on 20 than stateside folks. I also couldn't hear as well as I
would have liked--tough getting runs going. I did manage a couple but had a
rough time finding/keeping freqs. All in all, it was a good trip. We ended the
3-day trip with a QSO to brewery ratio of 7.5. Equipment was an FT-100D and an
ATAS-120 on the back of a 2018 Camry. Maybe we'll do it again next year. Who
knows?!
