Comments:
Some op time here, some op time there. WX too nice to spend more than a few
minutes at the rig, especially when 6m wasn't open. But when it was... WOW!
All but 1 qso was on CW. I went up to SSB to work local multiop W9XA and say
hello.
I'm always amazed with this band, especially when there are some openings, or
even teasing of some openings. I don't have much experience to say with
confidence what propagation mode(s) was/were in play, but whatever it they were,
it sure was fun!
Icom 7300, 100 watts.
Cushcraft XM-240 2L 40M yagi at 95'. LP-100A meter said 1.8:1 VSWR and about 80
watts.
Nice to work so many familiar HF CW contest calls.
Vy 73,
Charlie N9CO
