Comments:
IC-7610, Titan III, Spiderbeam @ 50ft on an aluminum Spiderbeam mast.
I sort of expected the openings to last longer with the higher MUF - EU seemed
to open late and closed early, though it was slightly better on Sunday.
Similarly JA; I only had a few callers Saturday night but Sunday was much
better. Unfortunately the band shut down as darkness fell Sunday. Another 15
minutes of propagation likely would have netted a couple Asia mults. Really
good widespread Es Friday night and decent Saturday evening into W5.
I felt loud with just the Spiderbeam. I will have "temporary"
antennas for a couple years until the house is built. Putting the tower up
first would be very bad for optics with my wife, though I am sure she
understands at this point.
711 Europe, 93 Asia. 141 DLs(!), 89 JAs
88 DXCC, 70 W/VE/XE (including AA7JV/MM in R2)
Thanks for the Qs!
73, Dave N2NL
