Comments:
The contest of breaking of my ARRL CW personal top.
Saturday with good conditions on 40m and 80m. But miserable on 160m, few mults,
no problem, will be done on Sunday. 20m fine, but perfect openings of 15m and
10m.
Then I lost 160m ANT on Sunday morning, with random disconnections somewhere in
the field... 80m and 40m still good, but high bands a bit worse than the day
before. 20m worked fine, so rates still good.
I run dual CQ when pileups went down, few times also 2 BSIQ, hi. It's really
hard job and needs big portion of precise training.
New 5 circle phased vertical RX array did perfect job, first time used in full
time contest. Burned cheap Chinese PL/N reduction was repaired after the
contest, so 160m is ready to holiday style CQ 160 SSB.
At the end of the day - good feeling, I beat my previous personal the top (+42%
QSOs, +6% MULTs, +49% score).
Thanks guys for participation on this game!
