Comments:
Attenuation on 3.5 MHz for the long range
is already high at this hour, but with an
early start one can pick up the few nearby
stations: 4 x SM in my case.
Generally 7 MHz is a very productive band
and good for runs. This time it was not
easy to reach the USA, though incoming
signal levels were good. A 2-el hidden
in the forest would be a good help.
On 14 MHz I got to work Allan VK2GR in
the last minute after visiting his pile-up
several times. Also Ken JN1THL was coming
in, but my signal did not make it. The
sloper wire is somewhat shielded by the
apartment. From the West only Ty K3MM.
No time was left to visit 21/28 MHz.
