Comments:
After I saw the conditions of the bands I set a goal of 20 contacts for this
SST. I have to admit I was getting nervous that I would get them. Thank
goodness for Colorado and California ops. They saved the day for me. 8 of the
20 contacts came from those two states. They boomed in today. The other states
were good but not great today. One of the stations I work almost every SST or
CWT had to ask me for 5 repeats on my callsign before he got it. Band condx
were just not good.
On a very bright not I worked my CW Academy Beginner Class Advisor Pete
Bergstrom/K6PB. I want to reach out to him and ask him to evaluate the contact.
And even better I had a contact with a student from a previous class that I
advised, Don Krause/KN6TAC. He did very well in his contact and I was busting
buttons over the contact.
Thanks to all who make this event happen.
Seven three de Kevin/NB7O
