Comments:
I enjoyed this a lot. Kudos to VE7AB, W1UE, N6ZFO, and DG2YCB for getting this
off the ground. I started on 10 meters, but nothing heard there. I finished on
80; copied 2 or 3 stations, but nothing worked. I was running the WSJT-X
Improved software module. It worked great as far as logging a QSO after just
two exchanges, but the color coding didn't work for new station on band or new
grid on band. As a result, I tried to keep track of stations worked in my head,
but duped a couple of people. Most of the confusion came about due to people
wanting to handshake at the end of a Q, but the rules were designed to avoid
unnecessary handshaking. There was less confusion on 20 from non-contesters
than I thought there would be.
