Comments:
During the hour ahead of the session 50 MHz condx
to USA with stations as far West as Illinois and
Michigan heard. Then a M1-flare at the start of
CWT and 21 MHz open to USA. Signals initially
weak. Had to witness at times dozen-long queues
of stronger callers before getting my turn. It
was actually easier to catch the weaker stations
without pileups.
Went to 28 MHz to see RBN-spots from Iceland to
Hong Kong and most of Europe for my CQ-calls, but
no response. Finally 6 Q's on 14 MHz. Then back
to 50 MHz to see the Azores and Caribbean booming
in and later even PV8DX (FJ92). The bigger stations
were working HC/HK/YV as well (or at least trying)...
Cheers/73, Zaba OH1ZAA #1856 CWops
