Comments:
Aurora peaked 87 gigawatts at 0830Z, and was still up
around 40 GW during the 1300Z session, so it was a
surprise to suddenly hear Chas K3WW at 1330Z, as the
first USA on 14 MHz. Also AA3B and NN3Q weak, but no
luck with K3MM (often one of the best signals). There
was a M4.6-flare peaking at 1036Z (our daylight sector).
My own RUNs pulled in stations poorly, or in piled clots.
On 21 MHz the FT8 window was busy, and my CQ during the
last 4 minutes produced lots of RBN flags in DL/EA/F/LZ
and the Far East, but no CWT-response.
Cheers/73, Zaba OH1ZAA #1856 CWops
