Soap Box:
Did about 10% better this year than last year certainly nice to have a
computer controlled
radio but I miss the filtering of my Kenwood as well as the transmit audio.
Had a really
hard time getting a run going on 15 but still made lots of Q's S&P same on
10 meters and I
don't understand that as I was told I was loud overseas. Glad to see that
10 opened up and now
am really wishing I had finished my 10 meter antenna project. The rain
caused me to smoke
2 coax lines but my theroy of redundant antennas really paid off since I
was not knocked out
at all.
Club Affiliation: Frankford Radio Club
This is to certify that in this contest that at least toward the end God
himself was operating
my transmitter and that if there were any rules I certainly didn't know
about them! Further
more I admit to really upsetting some guys from an obscure net on 20 meters
and I feel good
about that I guess it makes me a bad person.
