Truly a single station w/2 ops and two rigs -- one connected to a TH7DXX and
40m dipole, the other to an HF6V w/ 160 kit. Ice filters helped, but vertical
of limited usefulness in this class, just picked up a mult here & there. City
location with attendant noise a big minus.

Tuesday morning after contest S5/K1ZZ came up to me at a public meeting here
in Washington. As I was telling Dave about my fruitlessly having called him
on 40 (did work him on 20), John, K9DX, came up -- John also had worked Dave
from Illinois in the contest. And this wasn't even the PVRC meeting.
