W6AX CW SS, operated by N6IG from W6GO QTH, single op high power, no packet:
1246 x 79 = 196,868.
IMHO, activity was *way* down, conditions were good but runs were not
sustainable. First couple of hours were up to par, but then way down.
Is it possible that CW SS is on its way out? Is it possible that all the
grumbling about log checking might have had a backlash with people not
getting on? (Don't get me wrong, I am 100% in favor of the new checking
procedure, I am just speculating.)
Congrats to carpetbagger W4AN for besting me in a good horserace in the
Pacific Division. I think I will start sending NV instead of SV for my
section, that should help! ;=>
