After a heavy work schedule, the flare on Thursday really put a damper on my
enthusiasm, but conditions on the high-bands were quite good. This was the
first time I've worked Central Europe on 10-meters in almost five years! I
took it easy and had a good time, putting some new band-countries in the log
that I might otherwise have skipped to be competitive. It just goes to show
you that there is something for every type on entrant in a DX contest.
