56 x 18 = 1008

Best of the contest - VQ9VK QRP on 15-meters...Hot Dawg!! Don't think
we've ever had a VQ9 in ANY of the sprints before, so that's cool.

Activity flagged after the first hour, but the DX started to leak in over
the pole for us on the West Coast about 1550. G4BUO and DL5MC were both
2-banders. Also worked EA8, LY, RA3, and F. Only three band QSOs were
KK7GW, K7RAT, N4AF, and W4OC (I think). 15 sounded like the place to be -
10 was FAR too long for us with flux at 140.

I think the European participation warrants trying the WW Sprint angle
next time around - late August, maybe? We can add DX countries as
multipliers, as well, to really stir the pot.

Was it too early? Too late? Comments, please.

Thanks to all who participated, especially the Tennessee Contest Group who
made a significant effort and kept things hopping - thanks guys!

73, Ward N0AX
