Terry, 

If the tube was designed for opration at 2500 volts 800 mA, why does the 
data sheet/catalog give 2200 volts 600 mA as "maximum ratings?"  Why not 
simply show the lower "typical operation" numbers like many other tubes 
in the catalog?
