I was working at a telephonecompany once.
We had a rubberhammer that was used to
hit the relayracks with when we got too many
complains about crosscoupled phonelines.
When we did that we could hear virtuallu hundreds
of relays clickking off held by residual magnetism.
Now these racks are replaced by digital technology,
and we still get these errors. Maybe "residual electrons"
or "Long time delayd phonecalls".
