Howdy,
I have now been watching my YC156 (3CPX5000A7) amplifier in my
workshop for over 8 months without having had the time to do anything
about it....
So fellas, I'm going to part with it. The Amp is NOT finished, however
both input and output circuits have been cold tested for resonance,
good Q etc etc. Bias circuit has also been tested, Heater supply,
inrush protection for the heater (yeah I know, YOU DONT NEED
THAT ON A YC156 TUBE...... but I hate this kaboing sound when I
switch something on). RF Choke, HV decoupling etc is included. The
amp is with motordriven Vac capacitors in the Tank, and a motordriven
Coil. Input board uses 9 relays (actually 18) to switch bands, so the
whole amp is designed for remote controlling !
What is NOT included: HV supply, blower (can be included), Control box
for external control. (And proberly something else I forgot...)
Anyway, If anybody would be interested in this fine piece of equipment,
let me know, and I will give you some more details on the Amp. All I can tell'ya
is that there is more than $1500 parts in the Amp !
