Lou,
I think you have a micro-climate at your QTH which is warmer than the
surrounding areas. It may be caused by the "heat" you run in your ham shack.
(just a thought ;^) )

GM ampers, this morning Monday, Jan 28th 2008 while I was sitting at the
breakfast table looking out the window, I saw a Robin. I live in
Danbury,Ct.
and have been living in this area all my life. I don't think I have EVER
seen
or heard of a Robin sighting this time of year. You usually don't see them
until around March. The bird was obviously cold because it stood in one
spot
for some time. I did snap a digital photo of it. I assume this to be a
"rare" occasion. Any bird experts out there? They say seeing the first
Robin is
the first signs of spring around here. Lou
