If you put too much air around a tube, won't the aerodynamics of the
convection structure come into play creating votexes and/or diversion of or
an uneven airflow past select surface area that needs air flowing over it?

Now, does that mean, you can put too much air on a tube?
Or does it mean, you can put huge amounts of air on a tube?
