Solenoid plate chokes fortunately do not 'live by inductive reactance
alone' and are usually referenced at a much lower frequency than Fo.
Except for the very lowest Fo, on most ham bands they exhibit much
higher effective impedances due to many parallel resonance modes. They
often exceed a megohm Z, running very cool.
