Rich got banned twice from this forum over that subject, I dont intend to start it up again. The archives are full of it.

Also look at one of his latest moronic kluges, this is a Kenwood TL-922.

Thanks Carl,
can you tell me more, what is wrong with his methods (I know he gets too religious, but knows his technical stuff too). I talked with him some 10 years ago, he might have changed a bit by now.

I did not understand what you meant by "use the generic brute force method".

More like infamous. That is the voodoo crap I mentioned earlier.

Why do not you use famous Richard Measure, he designs and sell suppressors for all makes. I am not sure if he is still around, I used him for my 4-1000A's and 3-500's. some time ago.

Knowing the right suppressor to use on an SB-200 conversion is what makes the bucks.

Having to use a high wattage resistor on such a small tube as a 572B means you havent a clue about suppressor design, and simply use a generic brute
force method.

I'm converting a SB200 for 6M. What's the best configuration for the
Anti-Parasitic Choke?

Thanks

## dunno. BUT if the 2 watt carbon comp resistors heat up, use more of
em in parallel,
OR use a small 7-10-15 watt GLOBAR. You can still buy the small
globars with wire leads
out each end..still on their website. Dunno what the min order is
though.

## On several 4-1000 HF amps from years ago, we would use five of those
carbon comp resistors
in parallel...end of heating problems.
