Got a question What would the result of the improper amount of Operating
bias be on an SB-200?

Hi all

I have an SB-200 that has the same issues that another person on the list
was having I was only getting 400W out except I don't have 1:1 Swr between
the radio and the Amp. The best I can do is 1.8:1. I did what other on the
list had told him to do. (check the grid resistors and the 200pf mica
capasitors at the sockets) and found that the 33 Ohm resistor going to V1
had blown up. I replaced the resistor but am still having the same issues.
The tube (V1) does have some burn marks on the inside of the glass. I am
looking for ideas on where to go from here. Thanks

Jeremiah KC0VTJ
