This is the majority opinion, but it is impossible for me to understand, Jim. All the hassle is on the other side.

You pack the thing normally.

You call UPS or Fedex and get an estimate.

You tell the guy how much shipping will cost (it is insane -- my friend in Connecticut GAVE me a Palstar AT-Auto tuner and it cost $475 to ship).

If he agrees and pays you, you call UPS or Fedex, and they pick it up. Done.

The poor guy in his primitive country has to pay the customs duty and/or VAT, but that's not your problem. UPS/Fedex make it easy for him, at a price of course. If you send it by USPS, then he will be at the mercy of his own postal service to clear customs, and that can be a long, long process.
