What issue John ? I have most of those early ones boxed in the Attic.
Also have an excellent copier.

I use 2 tube versions on 1296 and 2304 that were built by K1DPP who is
now SK. I believe he published something years ago in one of the obscure
journals. You might check the weak signal VHF/UHF reflector or WZ1V's Web
page for leads.
Also availibility of

New or good used are getting scarce here also. Too many hams are burning
them out with excessive HV, water jackets, etc.
Also consider the 8250/3CX100F5 which is the 26.5V filament version of
the 7289/3CX100A5. The 8250 often shows up and goes begging at
fleamarkets...I recently purchased 5 in sealed boxes for $20.
Another source is the old Boonton 230 signal generator power amp....it
uses three of the 6.3V versions and I paid $15 for a working unit.
Don't know if any of this info is of use in ZS but you never know what
old US made stuff is still available.
