Rumor has it that the next run of 87A Alpha amps will use HV switching
supplies, plus a new 1.5KW 10M to 2M amp.
I understand that their MRI amps have been using switchers for several
years.
Any comments from Dick and John?
Anyone have experience with modern technology HV switchers as would be
used in an amp?
