RE: page 21. Above the QBL's 0 grid v line, the anode-current curves
progressively deviate at the low end. Distortion results. . At +50
peak grid volts, approx. 1000v less headroom is available -- unless one
allows operation in the distortion region. . . Curiously, with +50v on
the 8170's grid, anode headroom for linear operation is reduced by c.
1000v.
