I have a question to see what type of shielding this is I see in a Simpson 713
frequency counter. The counter is in a plastic case and does not use the copper
foil shielding. It has what looks to be a sprayed on copper dust. The copper is
granular and smaller than sand. I'm wondering what the process is, where to get
the materials, and how they do it? I would think it's bonded with some sort of
adhesive. Maybe the adhesive is sprayed on, then the copper dust applied to it,
and the excess shaken off? If anyone knows, I'd sure like to know.
Best,
Will
