Looks like there are three articles of interest for AC Mains regulated
HV power supplies in the following issues.
Jul/Aug 1999 QEX
4/88 issue of VHF Comm
July 1987 QST
The article that am looking for is the very simple regulator in the
July 1987 issue
of QST (where has the time gone -- I thought the article was 5 to 10
years ago and
not 20 years ago!).
And I now have the QEX article and a promise of the VHF Comm article
-- both of which
will be handy to have on file. But I have not yet found my copy of
the QST article and if
anyone has it in digital form I would appreciate an email copy. Most
of my older QSTs
are still stored at my QTH in Colorado. A FAX copy will also work if
sent to 830-966-5647,
but I hate to see anyone go to much trouble. Its just that I am
trying to solve a line voltage
variation issue for an experiment I am running and this looks like
the QST system is a cheap
and "good enough" solution.
