For sale, a later model Collins 30L1 WINGED EMBLEM
amplifier(serial #101XX)w/four full output USA 811A's. Has a
replacement filter capacitor/bleeder board installed with improved
voltage regulation capacity 180mFd 450VDC capacitors along with
complementing replacement diodes and bleeders. The amplifier also
contains an integrated intermediate low voltage relay circuit to
ensure solid state exciter antenna changeover compatibility. Parasitic
chokes have been upgraded w/parallel pairs of 100ohm 3 watt MOF
resistors. The amp, w/100w of drive (wired for 110VAC and 2000VDC
plate voltage)makes a verified 800w output as measured on a Bird
Wattmeter/dummy load. There are no issues of discoloration, bangs,
dents, extraneous holes or dings.Other than the capacitor board
circuit change, the amplifier is absolutely original with N connector
and original "mil spec" porcelain low loss RCA jack inputs. Prefer
pickup in the Scranton,PA or New York City areas, but will ship
(tubes shipped separately) utilizing the UPS Store special packing
procedures that combine my initial inner carton rigid foam packing
with their double boxing to ensure safe delivery with no possibility
