that's right. The heatsinks are interchangeable but the 46 tube is
substantially bigger than the 7.
The GI46b is more often sold without the cooler as they seem to be
more plentiful like that. They are definitely much cheaper that way.
Maybe the suppliers of the GI46B's have previously sold the coolers
to people who use them to cool the GI7B's more efficiently.
The person who did the conversion in the pictures, probably bought
the tubes without the coolers and just plonked the GI7B coolers on.
They are a perfect fit, with no modification required. However, as
has been said here, they are nowhere near as efficient as the proper
GI46B cooler.
