There's no doubt you can get parasitics. In my experience, they don't just 
'appear' in an equipment that's operating satisfactorily, unless the resistors 
burn up - and if the parasitic is suppressed, then the only thing to heats the 
resistors is the signal current. Of course, the harmonic currents will provide 
heating, too - don't forget that in  Class B stage, the second harmonic plate 
current is only 6dB down on the fundamental.
But a lot of the suggestions we've seen here over the years strike me as being 
similar to the beliefs held in Salem some 300 years ago! I go along with Tom 
and John in this.
