I have just recently acquired an Amp Supply LK500-ZB which
appears to be in excellent condition, HOWEVER there is a problem
and to be honest I'm stumped. In brief, here is the scenario:
140ma idling current
0 grid current (with or without drive)
3200volts B+ (drops to 3100 when relay activates)
50 watts of drive from OMNI 6 is 0 watts when relay engages in amp.
Plate current does not change with or without drive (when relay
actuated)
Same cabling when hooked to my AL80B amp, works like a champ.
The LK500ZB is non QSK .. same for the AL80B
Zener diode replaced.
Plate current does not change with drive applied from OMNI 6.
Welcome any and all suggestions....
I KNOW THE ANSWER IS OUT THERE 8-)
