I am working on a single 4cx250 UHF driver stage. Does a quarter wave
stub (say 7.75" rg-141) have any inherent problems when used as a tuned
input for a 4cx250. The circuit is; input coax connector, quarter wave
stub as mentioned, 400pF blocking capacitor, to the grid. The 50Ohm
resistor also terminates at the grid and supplies grid bias.
