On my Alpha76PA the idle Plate current in SSB mode, no drive,
key down is 120mA. The manual does not say how much it should be.
However, the Alpha78 use the same three tubes (8874),
where the manual says 75mA or less. What does your 76PA read?
Is it possible that 120mA is correct, and that the manual is wrong?
