I'll tell you all one NOT TO GET.  It's the Radio Shack 150/230 watt
#64-2187.
It's tip is shaped like an oversized Weller tip.

When you heat it up at 230 watts, the tip glows red hot in the wire
sections 2/3 of way down in to the tip! The tip isn't near the hot
spot.  I for one wanted the tip to be hot and keep it on the joint for
the minimum amount of time.  I didn't want to keep the tip on the
joint long enough for it to draw the heat from the hot part.

I suppose if I cut the tip length back, I could move the hot spot
closer to the tip.

Bad design.
