Hi Rich,
I have it for 3" and 1 1/2".
3" strap 5 foot = 1.28 microhenries.
3" strap 10 foot = 2.98 microhenries.
1 1/2" strap 5 foot = 1.49 microhenries.
1 1/2" strap 10 foot = 3.39 microhenries.
Note that doubling the length more than doubles the inductance.
Also note that doubling the width does not half the inductance.
Formula is follows:
For wire:
L(in uH)=.508 s [2.303 log 10 (4s /d) -.75] x 10 to minus 2
For strap:
L(in uH)=.508 s [2.303 log 10 (2s /(w + t)) + .5 + .2235 (w + t) /s] x 10
to minus 2
Where: s = length in inches
d = diameter in inches
w = width in inches
t = thickness in inches
73
