I was at the Orlando hamfest yesterday and picked up an Associated
Research Model 4045 AC/DC Hypot Junior. It appears to be in good
condition although I have not powered it up. The data that came with it
only indicated that it provides 0 to 5KV, ac or dc output and up to 5ma.
Does anyone have any info on the operation, specifically how to adjust the
leakage indicator? The meter on it shows the output voltage and there are
indicators for "breakdown" and "leakage". There is a slot for
a screwdriver adjustment labeled "LEAK ADJ."
Any info on where I can obtain a manual and/or how to use the test
set for leakage checking will be appreciated.
