Use great care in selecting what tetrode you use if you want to draw
grid current! Many of the modern high-power tetrodes (4cx800 to name
one) have VERY SMALL grid dissipation capabilities! It's pretty easy
to destroy the control grid in these sorts of tubes. If you're
talking about a 4-1000A, though, then grid dissipation is much less a
problem.
